Rose C. Belk - Biography
God in His awesome power and splendor
has ordained this space in time for Rose C. Belk, a
recording artist, songwriter and minister of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Surely, Rose has found her place as a
phenomenal praise and worship leader. |

| Rose began her singing career at the
tender age of seven and gave her life to the Lord at the
age of twelve. The youngest of eight children, Rose was
most impressed by the love God has shown her. Her
parents displayed the love of God and encouraged the
children to sing to God’s glory. From this, she
recognized her foundation in Christ and her God-given
talent to sing. She was taught that Christianity is not
a religion but a way of life. |

Rose accepted the call into
ministry in 1979 and has since been declaring the Word
of God. She is also the founder of Rose Belk Ministries
where her mission is to mend broken homes. She and her
husband, Rogers have hosted a number of LIFT (Ladies
It’s Family Time) conferences especially tailored to
single mothers. She has also been quite busy with the
FamilyTimes newsletter which offers
information and encouragement to men and women in the
things of God. |

Together, Rose and Rogers have been
blessed with two wonderful children, Rogers and Faith.
Rose continued to grow, furthering her career by singing
throughout the East Coast. She was a member of the
Praise Team at Victory Christian Center in Charlotte, NC
for approximately sixteen years. Rose has opened for
Helen Baylor,
and sang at many conferences, churches and conventions
and other special events. Rose was the recipient of the
Bank of America and Cultural Calendar’s Heritage
February 2000 award for “Vocal Performance.” Also in
2000, she released her first CD titled “My Song of
Praise” where she directed up to six musicians and
thirteen
singers. Recently, she had the opportunity to minister
with Ron Kenoly when she participated as a choir member
for his Christmas video shoot. The sound of her anointed
voice has brought many into the presence of God. |
