I just received an email from R. Brown on Thursday, April 29.  She did not join our weight challenge however, was very motivated by our last session.  Since then R. Brown has lost a total of 30 pounds.  She is only one pound away from her goal of 136.

What else can we say but Praise the Lord!  It is so awesome to see her get healthy for Jesus.

R. Brown is not the only person who is excited over weight loss.  A number of the ladies who joined this fitness challenge has loss pounds and inches, and wear dress sizes less than they did on November 22, 2003. 

If you took the challenge on November 22, but have not begun your journey.  You still have time. Remember I am waiting to take you to the mountains with us.  R Belk Ministries will reward the winner - bus transportation to Cherokee and entrance fee for the play, "Unto These Hills."

Also in our last session, we also prayed for a few of you who expressed an interest in getting married.  Well, one of our ladies, got married in April.   I won't expose her name at this time. We wish she and her husband only God's best.
