Divorce rates are high. It has been determined that 50% of marriages fail. The majority of this 50% makes up Christian marriages. Surely this is not what God had in mind when He established this holy institution called marriage. It is a shame to see so many Christian marriages fail. 

Nowadays, families come in all shapes and sizes - husband and wife with children, young lady with child(ren), young man with child(ren), grandparents or godparents raising a child or two. No matter what shape or size, every family needs help.

That’s where we come in. R. Belk Ministries is a not for profit ministry. It was established in January of 2001 to equip men and women for the work of the ministry, first and foremost to their family and then to those they come in contact with. It is a ministry geared to support the family structure.

We believe that once parents are taught how to love each other, they are better able to provide that same love to their children. We are under the assumption that not every man or woman understands his or her role as a spouse or a parent. 

We believe that the Word of God is the final authority, no matter what the situation. We are careful to teach what the Bible has to say about marriage and how to train a child. We endeavor to show the Bible's practical way of living.

Our radio program FamilyTimes trains men and women how to be a man and woman of God and a role model in their home. Our LIFT (Ladies, It’s Family Time) ministry ministers specifically to women (married or single) while GIFT (Gentlemen It’s Family Time) ministers to men. 

We also have a newsletter titled FamilyTimes which is sent out each quarter. Our newsletter offers Biblical teachings in many different areas and other good points of interest. It also list upcoming events.

Rogers and Rose Belk are the founders of R. Belk Ministries. While their primary ministry has been to the family, Rogers and Rose have found themselves ministering to the masses on many other topics. 

Their practical teachings go beyond book knowledge. They have experienced 23 years together as husband and wife. And have found many stumbling blocks and crooked roads along the way. But GOD through his great mercy has helped them during difficult times. Now they are reaching out to whoever will listen saying Yes, You Can!

R. Belk Ministries preaches the Word of God without compromise. Its mission is to help all people know the Lord Jesus Christ as savior, save families and bring hope to the body of Christ.

 

 

 

 

Raised in Lancaster, SC., Rogers Belk was born on June 9, 1959 and born again while attending South Carolina State University (formerly known as South Carolina State College) in October 1977.

While at South Carolina State College, he received the call of God on his life. Like many young ministers, Rogers accepted invitations to preach any and everywhere. He had a zeal for the things of God, without the knowledge of His Word. He has found many challenges and opportunities for growth along the way. 

His desire for a deeper and stronger relationship with God brought him to Victory Christian Center Church in Charlotte, N.C. where he has served faithfully for 19 years. There he grew and became knowledgeable of God’s Word.

Rogers was married to his wife, Rose on November 15, 1979. To this marriage, God added two children, Rogers and Faith. 

Rogers and Rose are founders of R. Belk Ministries, Inc. and host a radio broadcast called “FamilyTimes – Bringing the Gospel Home.”

 

 

 

Rose Belk, a woman after God’s own heart, was born on December 30, 1959. She is the founder of R. Belk Ministries and Rose Belk and New Vision. She received Jesus as Lord at the age of 12. She later felt the need to rededicate her life to the Lord at which time she was filled with the Holy Spirit and received the call to ministry. At the age of 19, Rose preached her first sermon and married a wonderful man, Rogers Belk. From this union, came two blessings, Rogers and Faith. 

Rose has learned through many struggles that God is the only true source for victory. Her vast experience as wife and mother has proven that, “marriage is still a holy institution and that you can raise godly children in an ungodly world.” 

She and Rogers host a radio ministry broadcast called FamilyTimes – Bringing the Gospel Home. They once hosted the “All New Praise and Worship Hour” for a local radio station.

Rose uses her gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God. She believes that God wills all men to be saved and to come into the knowledge of the truth. 

Rose received the Cultural Calendars Vocal Performance Award in 2000 and has ministered to many congregations in many cities ranging from Florida to New Jersey. Her unique style of ministry has blessed people of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. 

She is also multi-talented in the areas of singing and writing. She has released a new CD titled, “My Song of Praise,” written many poems, and children’s stories. Her upcoming projects include a novel for the married woman and a book, which teaches woman how to be good wives.

Rose is determined to walk out the plans that God has for her – it’s her right, it’s her destiny!
